River of Flowers

For patches of (re-established) wild plants to really develop, Sarah Raven has set up a nation wide initiative to connect pockets of wild flowers together into 'a river of flowers' on the British Isles. If these little or larger spots are physically too far apart insects can't travel between them and disappear, which is a problem in both urban and rural areas in Western Europe.
